A sewing machine is an effective piece of equipment that can allow someone to earn a living; particularly for women who have limited career options open to them.
We prioritise those most in need, such as widows and those disowned by families for following Jesus. We also provide sewing machines to the wives of pastors; as the pastors themselves rarely receive living wage for their work.
We also continue to donate sewing machines to the EFSL Technical and Vocational Education and Training Centre. The centre was was established in 1994 for the purpose of training youths, who had dropped out from the mainstream education system, with vocational skills.
